Hot Spurs and Dead Devils?
Despite United being hammered in the betting in recent days, and sitting one spot ahead of Spurs in the League, we are backing Ange to get it done this evening.
Theyāve beaten United three times already this season, as well as winning 9 of their 14 Europa League games.
Both sides have been diabolically bad in the League, so thereās not much to pick apart there.
However, with their fully fit defence, Spursā results havenāt actually been that bad.
When theyāve played with their starting back 4 this season, theyāve won 7, drawn 2 and lost 4, a win rate of 53% ā massively outperforming their actual League state.
They also have more in attack, outscoring the Red Devils by 102 to 82 goals.
Maddison and Kulusevski are big misses, while Bruno and Garnacho are always capable. So this is no home run.
But we believe in serendipity, and with that Ange leaving (probably) Spurs on a high, winning a trophy in his 2nd season with his 5th different side.
