THE BIG FACTS

Pub Ammo
π¦ Chelsea havenβt given a single minute to a player over the age of 27 in the Premier League this season.
π€ Spurs have just come from 1-0 down to beat a team 4-1 in claret and blue (West Ham & Aston Villa) in back-to back home games.

THE BIG DEAL

Much Edu about Notting
The big movement in the Exec Transfer Marketβ’οΈ is Eduβs move from Arsenal to the Marinakis-led group: Nottingham Forest, Olympiacos and Rio Ave.
The Brazilian has been instrumental in Arsenalβs journey from meme-fodder to title-challenging heavyweight.
But what does this mean for Forest?
Fulham, promoted the same year, have negotiated the switch from newly-promoted side to mid-table establishment seamlessly β helped by buying proven Premier League players.
Forest, with their 17th and 16th placed finishes, havenβt (despite flying in 3rd this season).
With Eduβs super-strong ties to super-agent Kia Joorabchian, we may start seeing a few more household names over at the City Ground β to complement their youth stockpiling!
THE BIG OPINION

10 out of 10s.
Is there anyone more important to their club than Cole Palmer is to Chelsea?
There isnβt a huge body of evidence. Not only has he not missed many games, but there arenβt that many other-club examples.
But of the five games he missed last season, Chelsea dropped 8 points (and conceded 5 to The Gunners).
Rodri springs to mind, yes. But City have always been good. And you just know Pep will find a solution.
But Arsenal?
Until 19th September 2024, youβd have laughed and maybe said Saliba.
But it is so clear what Arsenal have been missing since Γdegaardβs injuryβ¦
That oily, slick, lubricant. Theyβve gone from playing a brute-beauty hybrid style, to just set-piece merchants. And on that note, have conceded four already (vs seven last season). Not to mention a win percentage of 48% without him (vs 66.4% with).
So itβs quite interesting timing that on Martin Γdegaardβs return, Cole Palmer may miss out.
A comprehensive Arsenal win/Chelsea loss will still leave us head-scratching as to the answer.
The reverse? Weβll come back to you.
BIG SIX ENERGY

Earning his Spurs
Is there any manager out there who divides opinion more than Big Ange?
To some, his high-line is an evangelical position.
To others, heβs stubborn and naΓ―ve.
But something interesting happened against Villa. He brought off Son just minutes after creating the equalizer, and didnβt bring on Maddison. They went on to score three more.
No matter what, he will do things his own way.
And the man who βalways wins thingsβ in his 2nd season has just knocked Man City out of the Carabao Cup and sit 7th in the Europa League League (lol).
We still have Spurs for that 4th spot in the Leagueβ¦
