Getting your priorities right is essential.

So, with Man United in 15th, having scored just one first-half goal in their last 16 games, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has snapped into action!

Here are some essential cost-cutting measures he’s undertaken, according to the Daily Telegraph:

🍲 Reduced portion sizes for the staff canteen.
🥦 Requiring sign-off for bulk-ordered vegetables.
💳 Cutting all company expense accounts.
🩹 Monitoring sellotape expenditure.
🦺 Scrapping £50 steward-of-the-week bonus.

If you look after the pennies, the pounds will take care of themselves, right?

Maybe. But if you don’t look after the pounds, the pennies are irrelevant.

It cost United £10.4m to sack Erik Ten Hag and £11m to hire Ruben Amorim and his coaching staff.

Not to mention the £4.1m hiring and firing Dan Ashworth.

The lack of perspective from senior leadership is astonishing.

Morale at the club, from the fans to the players and staff, is at an all-time low.

The worst thing they could do would be to sack Amorim – and yet, at 18/1 to be the next manager to leave, we wouldn’t put you off Jim and his band of Ratcatchers getting it wrong yet again.
