An Overhaal?

Recency bias is one of football culture’s biggest issues.

Erling Haaland was undisputedly the best striker in the world not that long ago. Now you can barely remember what he looks like.

You’d be forgiven for not remembering that he’s scored SIXTEEN goals this season, which just so happens to be one more than Isak (15) and two fewer than Salah (18).

And that’s despite scoring just six times in his last 16 games.

Consider this…

Man City’s are now unbeaten in four, Haaland has scored three in three and Salah’s second half of the season record is considerably worse than his first half of the season record.

Is there room for a Haaland overhaul at the top of the scoring charts?

We think so.

He’s 11/10 to end up with the Golden Boot.

Amad turn of events

Amad Diallo’s hat-trick, by our records, is the latest hat-trick ever scored in Premier League history. Both in time and, well, time.

His first goal came in the 82nd minute, seven minutes later than Kanu’s first in Arsenal’s 1999 3-2 turnaround against Chelsea. 🤯

We’re a bit late to the party…

But he’s just £5.4m and has racked up comfortably the most #FPL points for United since Amorim took over at Old Trafford.

He’ll be a cheap starter against a Brighton side who have won just once in the League since beating City in November.
