🐍 Year of the Snakes
Arsenal vs Man City | Brighton vs Forest
IN-THE-INBOX: A 2-MIN READ
The tips have been quietly cooking – we got off to a bad start but are in profit since 22nd October and, quite frankly, we’re now feeling bullish. 🐂
However – as it is officially the Chinese Year of the Snake, we’d like to formally thank the PGMOL for the brilliant job they’ve been doing.
Keep up the good work, ladssss. 你们这些蛇一样的白痴 🐍

Silly Severance-Saliba stat 📺
Brighton cornering Forest? ✍️
Saudi solution… 🇸🇦
THE BIG FACTS
Pub Ammo
🕒 Liverpool will play a third successive Saturday 3pm kick-off for the first time since October 2012.
🍬Everton have scored 27 fewer goals than Spurs, yet lie just one point behind them in the league table.
🧤 Ederson has the same number of goal contributions (2) as Rasmus Højlund this season, despite playing fewer games. Oh, and being a goalkeeper.
🐴 Ipswich have conceded more goals (10) in the last 12 days than Burnley (9) have in their last 29 Championship matches.
💤 Fulham vs Man United saw the lowest xG (0.95) of any game in the last two seasons. Boring stat? Boring game.
📺 Ever watched Severance? There are characters called Mr and Mrs (Gabby) Arteta, whose children are called Kai and Declan. Oh, and there’s a Mr. Saliba too!

THE BIG DEAL

Teltale signs
It’s silly season yet again in the transfer market – with every sperm nerd sitting behind a computer spreading rumours.
Here’s what we know…
1. Heaven has gone to Hell. Yep, The Red Devils have nicked yet another young Gunner in Ayden Heaven.
2. Durán is off to Saudi Arabia.
3. Félix might be heading to Villa.
4. Watkins therefore COULD go to Arsenal.
5. And Tel is going… somewhere?
Spurs have agreed a fee for the Bayern winger, but we’ve been here before on deadline day (see Willian 2013).
Chelsea are monitoring the situation, with Félix on his way out, while Garnacho’s future lies in doubt – opening the door for United to swoop for Tel if Garnacho goes to the Blues.
Leaving Spurs with Manor Solomon on loan.

THE BIG OPINION

Arabian might
The Saudi Arabian Pro League could be good news for the Premier League. That’s if you want more of a financial balance.
With PSR (Profit and Sustainability Rules) now being enforced, the gap between the smaller and bigger clubs is even harder to close.
However – we’ve noticed something.
Despite Liverpool, City and Chelsea offloading some waning stars to the Saudi Pro League, the three largest transfer fees have gone to Fulham (Mitrović), Wolves (Neves) and Aston Villa (Durán). With Mitoma (Brighton) being the subject of a rejected £75m bid today!
WHY?
Top players at big clubs aren’t leaving – they already have everything: chasing trophies, legacy and massive wages.
But for stars at the smaller clubs? This is their jackpot moment.
A life-changing contract they may never get elsewhere, with no guarantee of a move to a top club. So, when Saudi clubs come calling, they listen.
That allows clubs like Villa, Fulham and Wolves to exploit the Saudi market for fees that the Premier League elite wouldn’t pay.
WHAT NEXT?
On the downside, this could cause those sides to become feeder clubs not just for the Big Six but also the Saudi Pro League. And it may mean they entrench the gap.
However, if they reinvest wisely, they could shift the balance.
THE BIG FANTASY

Double trouble
It’s Gameweek 24 – the long-awaited Double Gameweek, where Liverpool and Everton both play twice (once against each other).
So pack your team up with the Merseyside machines?
Well, it transpires that NEXT week (GW25) could also be a Double Gameweek.
– If Liverpool get to the EFL Cup Final: Liverpool and Villa will double in GW25.
– If Spurs get to the EFL Cup Final: Spurs and Fulham will double in GW25.
– If Arsenal get to the EFL Cup Final: Arsenal and Chelsea will double in GW25.
⭐️ Best bet is to load up with Salah, Konaté and Gakpo/Diaz. Add Pickford. And take a punt on Watkins.
He could get that Double Gameweek at Villa or Arsenal!

Means sweet FA?
“The club allegedly failed to ensure that its players did not behave in an improper manner around the 43rd minute.”
